Christina paints to capture colour, light and mood and uses mainly oil paint along with a variety of other media. Subjects are mostly places she knows well and visits often – such as the Lake District and Morecambe Bay area, and the banks of the River Thames. They are largely based on the natural world, but the buzz of the city can be very inspiring.

Twice a year there is an opportunity to visit the studio when Johnson’s Island holds its Open Weekends.
